Packers’ Aaron Rodgers Officially Begins Holdout

Green Bay Packers franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers has expectedly begun his holdout. Rodgers did not attend the start of Packers minicamp that officially kicked off on Tuesday as his rift with the Packers front office, mainly Brian Gutenkunst, takes another turn.

By missing the voluntary workout, Rodgers loses out of $500K worth of bonuses and could lose $93K for each day he misses of the three-day minicamp, but the team is considering not issuing any fines.

Rodgers seems committed in his stance to play for another organization, so the stalemate will move forward with no clear resolution in sight.
