Philadelphia Phillies slugger Bryce Harper could miss today’s game after he was pulled from last night’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth inning due to back tightness, according to MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki.
Phillies manager Joe Girardi made the announcement, stating his belief that Harper’s back issues aren’t a concern long-term “I think he’ll be a player for us on Friday,” he said.
