Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins reportedly suffered were injuries that are categorized as “substantial in nature” during an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred in a Las Vegas hotel room earlier this month involving his wife Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins, according to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor.
Gondrezick-Haskins is accused of punching Haskins in the mouth and now faces a felony charge of battery and domestic violence resulting in bodily harm stemming from the alleged altercation that took place on July 3rd.
Reports state that Haskins, 24, had a split upper lip and a missing tooth, and he suffered other injuries to his mouth that would require dental work to repair his teeth, and police were called to the hotel room at The Cosmopolitan at 2:30 am PT.
Haskins was taken to the hospital for the facial injury.
“We are aware of the situation but will have no comment,” the Steelers said in an official statement.
