Washington, Logan Thomas Agree to Contract Extension

1 Min Read

The Washington Football Team have agreed to terms with breakout tight end Logan Thomas on a three-year contract extension following Thomas’ career year last season, according to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo.

Terms of the new contract were not initially disclosed.

Thomas, who was a star quarterback at Virginia Tech, transitioned to tight end back in 2016 and had spent time with the Detroit Lions and the Buffalo Bills prior to inking a two-year deal with Washington in 2020.

Thomas put on a stellar performance, collecting 72 receptions for 670 yards and six touchdowns last season for Washington.

Washington is going through a rebrand, and they may look to places like social media influencers platform or an agency to help them market their brand change.
