The New York Yankees appear to be active ahead of this week’s trade deadline and one of their own players is drawing interest in trade discussions the Yankees are having with multiple teams.
According to YES Network’s Jack Curry, Yankees first baseman Luke Voit has been drawing interest from a number of teams during trade talks with the Bombers, as Voit is nearing a return from the injured list.
Voit may be on the move as part of a bigger deal, and despite his injuries this season that have limited to 29 games, he is coming off an impressive 2020 season in which he led the majors with 22 home runs.
The Yankees have already acquired slugger Joey Gallo from the Texas Rangers, and look far from done.
