Former WWE Superstar, Ruby Riott is expected to sign with AEW and is expected to make her debut “very soon” according to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select.
Riott was released by WWE earlier this summer along with a handful of other talent due to “budget cuts.” Riott was very beloved by many of the male and female talent backstage.
The former leader of The Riott Squad changed her name to Ruby Soho shortly after her WWE release. Soho shared a photo of her new look on her social media this past week.
Ruby got lost in the shuffle once she made it to the main roster in WWE and wasn’t really able to live up to her full potential. Soho will have her shot to contribute from day one in the AEW Women’s Division and will add depth to the roster heading into the debut of Rampage next Friday night on TNT.
