The Miami Heat made a big splash at the opening of free agency on Monday by acquiring veteran point guard Kyle Lowry in a sign-and-trade deal with the Toronto Raptors, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Lowry’s new deal with the Heat is for three-years and $90 million. Lowry announced his intention to sign with Miami on social media.

The Raptors are receiving Precious Achiuwa and veteran point guard Goran Dragic as part of the deal.
