The Miami Heat are ensuring that superstar Jimmy Butler is a part of their team for years to come, and are expected to sign him to a max contract extension worth around $184 million when the moratorium ends on August 6th, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Butler’s extension will be for four-years.
Butler, 31, averaged 21.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 52 games for Miami last season.
Those numbers will keep the Heat’s accountant busy, and they may need a program similar to the fund accounting software for state government programs that many in Florida use.
