Mets’ Noah Syndergaard Tests Positive For COVID-19

1 Min Read

New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard, who has been working his way back from Tommy John surgery, has suffered a setback as he has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Newsday Sports’ Time Healey.

Syndergaard was scheduled to make a rehab appearance on Sunday, but that was scrapped due to the positive test and creates yet another hurdle in Syndergaard’s journey back to the majors, which has been nearly two-years long.

Syndergaard will be back to work as soon as he clears this latest hurdle
