1 Min Read

The Seattle Seahawks have a contract offer out for All-Pro safety Jamal Adams and are currently awaiting word from his camp on whether Adams will accept the offer or decline it, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson.

The Seahawks organization and Adams have not had any communication over the last several days, per the report. Adams is in line for a potential contract extension that would make him the league’s highest paid safety.

Currently, Denver Broncos safety Justin Simmons is tops with a $15.25 million per year average.

Adams is set to make $9.86 million this season, the final year of the rookie contract.
