Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was taken to the hospital on Sunday with a potential throat contusion following the Bengals overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers, a team spokesman announced.

Burrow completed 26 of 38 passes for 381 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions, and Bengals rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase said that Burrow didn’t appear to have difficulty speaking after the game, despite the injury.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor didn’t divulge any additional details regarding Burrow’s condition following the game.

“He was pretty good,” Taylor said, according to ESPN’s Ben Baby. “He made some critical plays where he extended plays.”
