Utah Jazz superstar guard Donovan Mitchell will not be traveling with the team as they travel for a two-game trip to play the San Antonio Spurs and the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Desert News’ Sarah Todd.
Mitchell instead will remain in Salt Lake City to receive treatment for a low back strain.
At this time, it does not seem as though the injury is too serious, but it will be worth monitoring just how much time Mitchell will have to miss because of it.
