Jets’ Robert Saleh Tests Positive for COVID-19

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh has tested positive for COVID-19, according to an official team announcement issued on Wednesday morning.

Saleh, 42, underwent testing after reporting symptoms. Jets tight ends coach Ron Middleton will be leading the team practice on Wednesday in Saleh’s absence. Shouls Saleh be unable to clear protocols in time, Middleton will take his place during Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at MetLife Stadium.

The Jets currently have 14 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, including four practice-squad players.
