Nikola Jokic continues to carve a path to becoming the greatest player in Denver Nuggets franchise history by putting on another historic performance during Sunday night’s victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jokic collected 26 points, 22 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and two blocks in the victory that brought the Nuggets to 16-16 on the season, and with his sixth 20-20 performance, Jokic surpassed Marcus Camby for most in franchise history since Denver joined the NBA in 1976-77, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Additionally, Jokic is the first player to record 25+ PTS, 20+ REB and 5+ AST in back-to-back outings since Charles Barkley (1988) with the Philadelphia 76ers.

But the historical impact doesn’t stop there.

According to StatMuse, Jokic is still having the greatest PER season of all time:  Jokic in 2021-22 (32.7) — Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain in 1961-62 (32.1) — Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2019-20 (31.9)
