Washington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke has cleared COVID-19 protocols, and is among three players to be activated, according to an official team announcement issued on Thursday.
Heinicke will return to practice Thursday and is expected to start Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Washington (6-8) has lost two in a row after winning four straight games and will likely need to win their final three games of the regular season in order to have any chance of making the NFL playoffs.
