San Francisco 49ers franchise left tackle Trent Williams will be back on the field on Sunday when the Niners take on the Dallas Cowboys in their Wild Card playoff matchup, according to The San Jose Time’s Cam Innman.
Williams suffered an elbow injury during the 49ers’ victory at home against the Houston Texans in Week 17. Williams’ injury will not require surgery, and he continued to play through the injury as well.
Williams, 33, remains one of the best left tackles in the league and played 15 games during his second season in San Francisco.
