Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is set to undergo surgery on his left ankle on Wednesday, according to a report from the NFL Network.
Hurts, 23, who suffered a high-ankle sprain against the New York Giants back on November 28th, is expected to be recovered in time for the Eagles’ offseason training program, which kicks off in April.
The Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Hurts reportedly left the stadium in a walking boot when the game was pretty much out of reach for Philly.
Hurts is expected to enter the 2022 season as the Eagles starting quarterback.
