The Washington Wizards are reportedly looking to make a move at the upcoming NBA Trade Deadline and appear to have their sights set on Indiana Pacers star Domantas Sabonis, who is a popular name in the rumor mill.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer, Washington has explored adding Sabonis via trade and pairing him with franchise cornerstone Bradley Beal.
But that is not the only player that the Wizards are exploring – the list includes Detroit Pistons star Jerami Grant, another popular name to watch, as well.
While Beal would welcome the addition of Sabonis, Beal has not actively encouraged the Wizards to acquire him. In regards to what the Wizards may have to give up to pry Sabonis from Indiana, it is reported that the Pacers would be looking for a haul similar to what the Orlando Magic received from the Chicago Bulls in the Nikola Vucevic trade last season.
