Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic was reportedly up all night battling an illness ahead of the Mavs critical Game 2 tilt with the Golden State Warriors during the Western Conference Finals, which Golden State holds a 1-0 lead.
TNT play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan discussed a rumor that Doncic has been battling a sickness ahead of Game 2 (h/t NBC Sports):
“I hear he’s sick today,” Harlan told KNBR’s Greg Papa and John Lund during an appearance on their show on Thursday. “I guess he was up most of the night and ill. I’ve heard it now from two different people, so I’m assuming it’s probably true.”
While nothing has been confirmed, and no official announcement has been made by the Mavericks regarding Doncic’s status for Game 2, it will still have fans worried about just how effective Doncic will be.
Doncic not being 100% would be a major hurdle for the Mavericks to clear as they look to even the series.
