NFL Discussing the Future of the Pro Bowl

1 Min Read

The National Football League is looking into the future of their annual All-Star game, the Pro Bowl, and exploring a number of alternatives for the weeklong celebration that could include eliminating the traditional tackle game, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

The NFL has spoken to both players and teams and hopes to have a decision this summer.

The Pro Bowl itself has suffered from a lack of interest and viewership for the game, with a number of players backing out of the game and the lack of competition within the game due to a concern over injuries.

The Pro Bowl game has been a part of the NFL in some form since 1938.
