Detroit Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah, who they made the 3rd overall pick during the 20220 NFL Draft, is currently at the team’s OTA’s continuing to recover from a torn Achilles he suffered during Week 1 of the 2021 season.

According to the Detroit News’ Justin Rogers, Okudah, 23, is progressing and the Lions are looking towards training camp as the point where the prized cornerback prospect can resume his full workload.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell is confident that Okudah can be back in full swing by training camp.

“We’re not worried about Jeff’s movement skills” Campbell said, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “You watch him, with his footwork and the things that he’s doing, he can do all that… When the time’s right, to go full-speed when we get him in camp, he’ll be ready.”
