Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook has certainly etched his name among the NFL’s elite running backs over the last few seasons, and has been the superstar offensive weapon in the Vikings rushing game that has made him a fan favorite.

Cook knows how important his play is within the Vikings offense and believes that he is similar to one of the NFL’s star running backs in the late-90s and early 2000s.

“I could get the ball 30 times, and you could give it to me 30 more times the next game… Being a bell-cow running back is what I pride myself on being. One of those old school, Warrick Dunn—just being one of those guys,” Cook said, during an interview with Hobie Artigue of FOX 9 Sports Now.

Cook, 26, rushed for 1,159 yards and six touchdowns on 249 carries while adding 34 receptions and 244 receiving yards for the Vikings last season. Despite the success, Cook has been limited due to injuries throughout his career which has limited his availability.
