Buccaneers Sign Carl Nassib

1 Min Read

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed veteran defensive end Carl Nassib to a one-year deal, marking a return to the organization following a stint with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Nassib notched 12.5 sacks during his two season in Tampa Bay, but then went on to ink a three-year, $25 million contract with the Raiders in 2020, where he would play 27 games over two seasons with the team.

Nassib, 29, collected 49 tackles and 4 sacks over the course of his tenure with the Raiders, who ended up cutting him back in March in a cap-saving move that created $8 million in cap space savings.
