The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have their future Hall of Fame quarterback back at training camp, as Tom Brady made his return to training camp on Monday following an 11-day, prearranged break.

Brady took the break for personal reasons, and the seven-time Super Bowl champion didn’t address the media after practice. Despite the break, Brady was said to look sharp throwing the ball and picked up where he left off when he took the brief hiatus.

Brady missed two preseason games during his break, but Bucs head coach Todd Bowles said that Brady would not have played in those games anyways, adding that the break had been planned since before the start of training camp over a month ago.

Brady’s return will be some welcome good news for a Bucs team that has had to a deal with a slew of injuries across their offensive line. Additionally, wide receiver Mike Evans made his return to camp and Chris Godwin participated in 11-on-11 drills for the first time since suffering a torn ACL back in Week 15 of the 2021 season.

Godwin is hoping for a Week 1 return, but there has been no official announcement regarding his status for the season opener.
