The Los Angeles Chargers have placed veteran kicker Dustin Hopkins on injured reserve and will miss at least four more games as he Hopkins has been sidelined by a hamstring injury since Week 6.
In a corresponding move, the Chargers announced that they have signed kicker Cameron Dicker from the practice squad to take Hopkins’ place on the main roster.
Hopkins, who signed a three-year extension with the organization this past offseason, is coming off a career year in 2021 in which he connected on 90% of his field goal attempts. Hopkins has converted 9 of his 10 field goal attempts and all 12 of his extra point tried this season for the Chargers.
