New York Giants safety Xavier McKinney is set to miss the next “few weeks” after he injured his hand during an ATV accident in Cabo during the Giants’ bye week, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

McKinney, 23, was a second-round pick out of Alabama in the 2020 NFL draft and took over starting safety duties during the 2021 season. McKinney announced the injury during a post on his official Twitter page.

McKinney is currently fourth on the Giants with 37 tackles and has also added a sack, four passes defended, and two tackles for loss.
