Vikings’ Justin Jefferson Epic Catch Helps Defeat Bills

2 Min Read

In a game filled with plenty of big plays, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson perhaps had the most impressive with his 32-yard on-hand grab on fourth-and-18 on Minnesota’s final drive of regulation when he ripped the ball out of the hands of Bills corner Cam Lewis.

The Vikings would defeat Buffalo 33-30 in overtime that would send the Bills from atop the AFC East Division to third, and keep Minnesota’s record among the best in the NFL at 8-1.

“Look at us now. Look at us now. That’s all I could say,” Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson said, according to ESPN. “We’re not trying to prove them wrong. We just want to continue to prove ourselves right each and every time we step on the field,”

“I believe the largest margin was 13, 14, 17? So if we’re not a good football team, how could you come back from that deficit? Look at us now.”

“I’m going to remember this one forever,” Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said. “We just had to continue to trade those blows, body blows, haymakers, and just try to be ready for the next snap, as long as they let us continue to play today.”

Jefferson was among the most impressive, collecting 10 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings.
