Still holding on to slim playoff hopes, the New Orleans Saints will enter Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles with a big boost to both their offense and their defense as two star players will make their returns to the field.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Saints wide receiver Chris Olave and star cornerback Marshon Lattimore will both be back for the Saints as they take on the NFC contending Eagles.
Lattimore hasn’t played since October 9th due to an abdomen injury while Olave has been limited with a hamstring injury.
For the Saints to make the playoffs they will need to beat the Eagles and hope that the Carolina Panthers can defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in another game with massive playoff implications, and hopes on the line.
