The Carolina Panthers are yet again in the market for a starting quarterback but this time they are heading to the free agent market instead of the trade route, and are set to meet with former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, according to ESPN.

Carr, who is expected to arrive Tuesday in Indianapolis, has already visited with the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints and is expected to meet again with representatives from both of those teams again at the combine, according to a report from the NFL Network.

Carr, 31, is seeking at least $35 million annually, according to ESPN’s Dianna Russini.

The Panthers have had a revolving door at quarterback over the past few seasons, and have gone the trade route to try and find a permanent answer, but whiffed on the likes of Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield.

They currently only have Matt Coral and Jacob Eason under contract.
