Falcons Signing Calais Campbell

The Atlanta Falcons will be signing former Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell to a one-year contract, brining the veteran defensive force to Atlanta, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

According to the report, the Falcons will be adding the Pro Bowler following a visit last week, saying – “The Pro Bowler and former Walter Payton Man of the year will lend leadership to a young team he believes in. And Atlanta adds — again — on defense.”

The Ravens announced that they would be releasing Campbell ahead of the start of free agency. Campbell is a six-time Pro Bowler, and one-time All Pro selection, over the course of his 15 seasons in the league spent with the Ravens and the Arizona Cardinals.
