Warriors’ Steph Curry Accepts Sabrina Ionescu’s Three-Point Challenge

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry has accepted the challenge of New York Liberty superstar Sabrina Ionescu, who issued a challenge to the Warriors’ legend following her historic performance in the WNBA three-point contest.

Ionescu had sports social media buzzing following her performance in the contest, which saw her net the most points in a 3-point contest in both NBA and WNBA history.

“I gotta go after Sabrina [Ionescu’s] record,” Curry said during an appearance on ESPN’s NBA Today on Monday. “I got something to shoot for now that she went crazy with the 37 points in their All-Star Weekend… We got to settle that one for sure…. Who’s the better 3-point competition shooter.”

Curry will have some stuff competition from the Liberty star and former top overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft, who is enjoying a career season that has he shooting 44.6 percent of her 3-pointers on 7.6 3-point attempts per game for the Liberty.

“Let’s get itttt,” Ionescu tweeted, adding three laughing emojis.
