Eagles’ AJ Brown Visibly Frustrated with Lack of Production

2 Min Read

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown wasn’t too pleased with his lack of production and his frustrations were on clear display during a sideline exchange with Eagles franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts that is sure to have sports talk podcasts and radio shows chattering on Friday.

Despite the Eagles victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night, social media was buzzing about an apparent tiff on the sideline between the electric wide out Brown and the Eagles signal caller Hurts.

Brown had just four catches for 29 yards on six targets, where as Eagles teammate DaVonta Smith led the way with 4 receptions and 131 yards including a touchdown.

You can check out the exchange, which included Eagles staff as well as Smith, below:

Smith discussed the sideline incident following the game:

“That’s part of being a competitor, man. You always want to feel you’re a part of the team, helping the team and things like that,” Smith said, according to ESPN’s Tim McManus. “Anytime something like that is going on, it’s not anything bad. He’s not bashing nobody. He just wants to feel part of the team, wants to help us.”

“I think everybody wants to make plays and everybody wants to contribute,” Hurts said. “I have no worry about him. He’s a great player, a great teammate, a great friend, and we’ll do anything and everything to win.”

Brown left without speaking to the media.
