The Philadelphia 76ers have acquired veteran guard Buddy Hield from the the Indiana Pacers in a trade deadline move that will add the veteran sharpshooter to a offense-needy Sixers team, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

As part of the deal, the Pacers will receive forward Marcus Morris, guard Furkan Korkmaz, and thee second round picks as well as $1.5 million in cash, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey.

It’s a solid move for Philly, who was in need of scoring help following the injury to MVP big man Joel Embiid, who could possibly return this season.

Hield, 31, is averaging 12.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists this season for Indiana, but some consider it a down year for the guard.
