Former Florida State Seminoles and Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Malik Benson, who has an extra year due to the recent ruling on junior college players, has officially committed to play at Oregon.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Benson said that he picked to play for the Ducks after being impressed with the Oregon coaching staff and was intrigued by the opportunity to play with projected starting quarterback Dante Moore.
Benson played one season at Alabama, hauling in 13 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown.
Following his transfer to Florida State he caught 25 passes for 311 yards and a touchdown last season.
