Following the crushing end to their season following their 27-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card playoffs, the Minnesota Vikings head into the offseason with a lot of uncertainty and veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore will be among those question marks.
According to the Star Trubune’s Andrew Krammer, Gilmore is going to think about retirement this offseason.
“Going to sit down with my family and think about what’s best for me and go from there” Gilmore said, per the report. “We’ll see. Been playing at a high level for a long time. … Older, body feeling it more.”
Gilmore, 34, signed a one-year, $7 million deal with the Vikings this offseason and ended up registering 56 tackles, an interception and nine pass defenses this season for Minnesota.
