The Dallas Cowboys have placed veteran safety Malik Hooker on injured reserve Saturday after Hooker injured his left toe during last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers, according to ESPN.
Hooker, 29, has played at least 15 games in each of his last four seasons in Dallas following an injury-ravaged start to his career with the Indianapolis Colts who selected hooker in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Hooker will be replaced by Alijah Clark who was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
