Memphis Grizzlies superstar guard Ja Morant is considered week-to-week due to a sprained left ankle that he suffered during Sunday’s team practice, according to an announcement issued by a team spokesperson.
Morant, a two-time All-Star, has played a total of only 59 games over the past two seasons, highlighted by a torn labrum that he suffered back in January 2024 that put an end to his season after playing in just 9 games following a 25-game suspension to start the season.
Morant is coming of an injury-plagued season in which he posted 23.3 points and 7.3 assists per game for Memphis.
