SportsRantz Announces Acquisition of SportsRant.com

2 Min Read

On Monday July 9th, 2012 Anthony DiMoro of SportsRantz.com purchased the sports fan website SportsRant.com from previous owner Mike Simonds.

SportsRant.com is a sports talk forum that originally went online in July of 2007 and quickly became a large forum for sports talk and articles amongst fans. Much like SportsRantz, fans were able to create memberships and post their thoughts via posts in the forum.

Mike Simonds did a terrific job with SportsRant.com and I had my eye on it since I launched SportsRantz in early 2011. The traffic the site has seen in the past is impressive and with over 10,000 members in their forum it just demonstrates the quality of website that this is.” – Anthony DiMoro

So what’s next for SportsRant.com and how does the website fit into the future of SportsRantz.com?

In the near future we will be reaching out to the SportsRant members and migrating their profiles over to SportsRantz.com so they can once again have a vibrant place to talk sports. Unfortunately, Mr. Simonds could no longer dedicate the time to maintaining the site’s growth, but we aim to revive member activity by bringing the site to SportsRantz and offering a fun place for all members to interact.

What does this mean for SportsRantz.com?

I’m pretty excited for this. SportsRant.com gets thousands of visitors per month, close to 20,000 and we will be adding that traffic to SportsRantz.com. This will be a clear benefit for our bloggers, ranters as well as any advertisers and sponsors. We have achieved over 20,000 hits per day and this just helps bring SportsRantz to the next level. The next year or so will be vital for SportsRantz.com and the future is extremely bright, this is just another step towards it.
