Las Vegas is seeing a ton of action for this weekend’s Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor fight, but the bets are seemingly going in one direction.
That direction is Floyd Mayweather.
Multiple $1 million bets on Mayweather have been placed in Las Vegas.
The MGM sportsbook took a $1 million bet on Mayweather at -550 odds from a VIP casino guest and William Hill’s Nevada sportsbook has reported taking a $1.2 million bet on Mayweather at -500 odds from a customer who paid cash, according to ESPN.
Other large bets were placed including The South Point sportsbook taking two $200,000 bets on Mayweather within 15 minutes of one another.
The Mayweather/McGregor clash is expected to be the most bet fight of all time, topping the estimated $60 million bet on 2015’s Mayweather’s fight with Manny Pacquiao.
This is not even taking into account online bets, which figures have not been released for yet.
Still, Mayweather would remain, as he is, a heavy favorite.
