This past Saturday night on March 10,Reba McEntire, Grammy award-winning singer came back to host this great event for her 13th year.

Also at the event, Police officer Tom McGrath and brave civilian Jonathan Smith were recognized to a standing ovation for their bravery during the Las Vegas shooting as Lonnie Ali awarded both with a Muhammad Ali Unsung Hero Award. The highlight of Fight Night was the announcement of a new initiative to raise funds for Phoenix’s Barrow Neurological Institute’s Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program.

The black tie event featured a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner and live auction including once in a lifetime luxury items.

The live auction featured a trip to Steven Tyler’s, Aerosmith front-man private estate in Maui, an international trip of the bidder’s choice with Mr. Larry Legend Fitzgerald, dinner with comedians Steve Martin, Billy Crystal and Martin Short, a New York City VIP visit including tickets to Broadway’s Hamilton, tickets to the U.S. Open and a VIP Fashion Week experience.

Other celebrity guests included Crystal; actress Candace Cameron Bure; former Arizona congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband, astronaut Mark Kelly; music producer and singer Randy Jackson; former Phoenix Suns star Tom Chambers; and actresses Gena Lee Nolin and Bo Derek.

Jose Ramirez (21-0) vs. Amir Imam (21-1) on ESPN– From the jump, Imam must double up on his jab to keep Ramirez off of his chest. I am expecting to see Ramirez outwork Imam with his busier punch output.
Imam has a punchers chance on knocking Ramirez off, but ONLY If Imam can find the space needed to extend fully on his shots. I see this fight having close tough to score rounds in the early going, until Ramirez finds a home for his heavy right cross. Give me Ramirez by 8th round stoppage.
