Former NFL cornerback Brandon Browner has been charged with attempted murder following his arrest last Saturday, the La Verne Police Department announced on Tuesday.
Browner was arrested last Saturday after he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house, harmed her, threatened to kill her, and then stole from her.
According to law enforcement, Browner broke into the victim’s home and prevented his ex-girlfriend from leaving, harmed her, threatened her life and stole a $20,000 watch before leaving the scene.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed multiple charges against Browner including attempted murder, along with robbery, burglary, false imprisonment, and child endangerment.
