Jaguars’ Marcell Dareus Faces Two Sexual Assault Lawsuits

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Marcell Dareus is facing two sexual assault lawsuits.

According to News4Jax’s Chris Parentau, one lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred in April of this year.

Dareus is accused of having sex with the plantiff while she was unconscious, as well as exposing her to a sexually-transmitted disease which Dareus failed to disclose to her.

According to the Tampa Bay Times’ Greg Auman, a woman claims that Dareus, whom she met at a club in January 2017, grabbed her breast and attempted “to put his hands between her legs” against her wishes.

The woman also claims that she blacked out after drinking, only to wake up bed with Dareus. The woman says that she ”began to immediately realize that there had been sexual physical acts upon her person.”
