Last week news broke that former WWE superstar Ashley Massaro had tragically passed away at the age of 39, although details were not available other than her death being officially classified as “non-criminal.”
According to TMZ Sports, Massaro was found hanging in an apparent suicide, found unconscious inside of her Suffolk County, NY home early Thursday morning prior to being rushed the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Massaro is being laid to rest in Suffolk County, and is survived by her daughter.
Former WWE superstar and MMA fighter CM Punk called into WMGM on Friday saying that he heard Massaro had taken her own life and urging anyone listening who is struggling with depression and/or suicidal thoughts to get the help they need.
