Clippers Eyeing Both Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard

As free agency approaches, the Los Angeles Clippers have some big goals that they plan on pursuing once things officially kick off on Sunday evening.

According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein, the Clippers are exploring the possibility of signing both Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard.

Leonard is coming off a brilliant lone season with the Toronto Raptors where he led the team to their first ever NBA Championship while winning NBA Finals MVP honors.

Butler was the big mid-season trade for the Philadelphia 76ers, where became a leader and one of the team’s best performers during the playoffs.

Thus far, teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Raptors, 76ers, and Clippers have been tied to Leonard, while the Sixers, Houston Rockets, and Miami Heat have been linked to Butler.
