Toronto Renaming Part of Bremner Boulevard to ‘Raptors Way’

1 Min Read

The city of Toronto continues to celebrate the Raptors 2019 NBA Championship, and are looking to immortalize the historic team, according to TSN’s Josh Lewenberg.

Toronto Mayor John Tory took the stage in Nathan Phillips Square, during the Raptors’ victory parade on Monday, and announced that a portion of Bremner Boulevard, just outside Jurassic Park, is now called “Raptors Way.”

Additionally, each player on the 2019 Raptors’ championship team will receive a key to the city.

It was a bright spot for a parade, attended by close to 2 million people, that was marred by a shooting.
