The New Orleans Saints and superstar wide receiver Michael Thomas have agreed to a five-year, $100 million contract extension, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Thomas’ new deal comes with $61 million guaranteed and makes him the highest-paid wideout in the league.
Thomas will now be linked to the Saints for the next six years, all the way through the 2024 season, and will end his short holdout.
Thomas, already considered an elite NFL wideout, is still a rising star, and his 321 career catches are the most in NFL history by a player in his first three seasons.
Thomas has already set franchise records with 125 receptions with 1,405 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns last season
