Former NBA guard Ty Lawson is being sued by a woman named Jonae Keyes who claims that Lawson choked her during an argument between Lawson and her friend in the backseat of a car,
According to TMZ Sports, Keyes claims that back on May 5th, she gave Lawson and her friend a ride to a club when an argument broke out between Lawson and her friend in the backseat.
Allegedly, when the argument became physical, she attempted to intervene and that’s when Lawson grabbed her by the neck, choked her and began punching her in the head.
Keyes states that she never fought back during the altercation and that she suffered physical and psychological damages because of it.
A lawsuit was filed by Farid Yaghoubtil, although it is not known how much Lawson is being sued for.
