Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs underwent surgery on Wednesday, he officially announced on his Instagram page.
Jacobs has missed two of the past three games due to a fractured right shoulder stated that; “Surgery went great fastest surgery ever.”
Jacobs has been impressive this season, his first in the NFL, and currently ranks eighth in the league with 1,1,50 yards rushing in only just 13 games with the Raiders this season. Oakland (7-8) still has a chance to clinch a playoff spot, but will need a lot of help to do so.
If Jacobs is out on Sunday, then the Raiders are expected to turn to veteran DeAndre Washington, who rushed for 85 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers last season. Washington has collcted 310 yards and 3 touchdowns this season for the Raiders.
