Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue has yet to report to the team, or to sign his franchise tag, but has spoken with Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell in recent days, according to NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo.
While it’s nothing ground-breaking, it is certainly a small step in right direction in the icy relationship between the Jags and Ngakoue, who had been seeking a lucrative long-term deal prior to issuing a trade demand.
Ngakoue, 25, also made the decision to change agents, which could change the dynamic a bit.
