The Detroit Lions have cut veteran offensive lineman Joshua Garnett, according to an official team announcement issued on Sunday.
Garnett has not lived up to the hype since the San Francisco 49ers drafted him in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, struggling with performance and with injury.
Garnett was cut from the Niners ahead of the 2019 season and picked up by Detroit back in February.
